Supernatural Assignment

Suburbia/vampire culture is a short animatic that tells the story of Anya, a little girl who gets adopted into a white family where things aren’t as ideal as they seem. My animation focuses on the theme of white supremacy and how racism is an intergenerational issue that can only be solved by abolishing it completely. I compare racism and white people to vampirism to elaborate how racism is inherent to whiteness and how it has to be defeated in its entirety before real progress can be made.
